You can now review and approve patient-submitted health data before it’s added to their record, giving your practice full control over clinical accuracy and QOF-related updates.
🧾 What is “Unapproved Basic Health Data”?
When patients are invited via a recall campaign and have missing/out of date basic health information in their record, like blood pressure, smoking status, weight + height, Hippo will send them a tailored Typeform link.
💡 Note: Patients only see the fields that are relevant or outstanding for them, not the full Typeform each time.
Once submitted, these values appear in a new review queue. Instead of being written back automatically, you decide which patient data is appropriate to approve
This ensures:
✅ The data is accurate and clinically appropriate
✅ Only relevant changes are coded into your system
✅ Your QOF reporting stays clean and compliant
🔎 How to use it
1️⃣ Go to the Worklists section in Hippo Recaller
2️⃣ Click on the “Unapproved Basic Health Data” card
3️⃣ Make sure it's toggled to the 'Ready for Review' section
4️⃣ Click on the 'Review' button under the 'Action' column
5️⃣ Go through and review the data, tick 'Save to record' and click 'Submit'
This will then get automatically written back into their patient record.
🚫 What if the information the patient has provided is incorrect?
You can mark the entry as 'Canceled' by ticking the cross icon under the 'Action' column.
💡 Why this matters
🧾 Protects data quality by keeping you in control
👩⚕️ Supports clinical oversight before any coding changes
📊 Improves QOF accuracy by ensuring only validated data is included
