🎨 Understanding the Colour Coding in the Recall List

Updated over 3 months ago

When viewing the Recall List in Hippo Recaller, you’ll notice that some patient rows are colour-coded. This visual guide helps you quickly identify which patients have already been contacted and what the outcome of that contact was, so you can work more efficiently and avoid duplication.

Here’s what each colour means:

βœ… Green – Patient has been recalled successfully

Outcomes that appear in green:

  • Booked appointment

  • Completed action already at GP Surgery

  • Completed action already elsewhere

  • Already booked in on EMIS – note added to appt

  • Not eligible

❌ Red – Patient declined or is no longer eligible

These patients have refused care or moved out of area, so no further recall is needed.

Outcomes that appear in red:

  • Patient declined recall

  • No longer in area – Declined recall

πŸ“˜ Blue – Recall not successful (needs follow-up or attention)

These outcomes usually mean that the patient could not be reached or couldn’t book in.

Outcomes that appear in blue:

  • No availability for recall

  • Contact details missing or incorrect

  • Action completed by call handler

βšͺ No fill – No response yet

These patients have been called but no outcome was recorded (e.g. missed call or no answer).

Outcome with no colour fill:

  • No response

🟑 Yellow – Other

Used for any miscellaneous or custom outcomes not covered above.

Outcome that appears in yellow:

  • Other

πŸ‘€ Where to see the colour codes

You’ll see these colours on the rows in your Recall List. They make it easier to:

  • Track which patients still need action

  • Avoid calling someone who has already been contacted

  • Focus your time where it’s needed most

You can also view the colour guide within the Recaller list itself:
