๐Ÿง’ Can Hippo Be Used for Patients Under 18?

Updated over 9 months ago

Yes, Hippo can recall patients under 18 if they meet the criteria for an indicator thatโ€™s active in your campaign.

Thereโ€™s no hard age limit in the system. If a child or young person is eligible based on their clinical record and the rules of the recall indicator, theyโ€™ll be included automatically.

๐Ÿ‘ถ Examples of under-18 recalls:

  • Childhood immunisations (e.g. 8-week vaccinations, pre-school boosters)

  • Long-term condition reviews (e.g. diabetes, asthma)

  • Flu vaccinations (for children in a clinical risk group)

โš™๏ธ How does Hippo know to include them?

When you set up a campaign, you select the indicators you want to recall for (e.g. SMR002, CHI006, AST007). If any of those apply to under-18s based on the clinical rules, Hippo will include those patients, no extra filtering needed.
