πŸ”¬New Feature: Condition-Specific SNOMED Writebacks

When a campaign recalls patients across multiple conditions, Hippo can now write back a different SNOMED code per condition.

πŸ†• What's changed?

When configuring the write-back settings for a campaign message, you'll now see a third option alongside Default and Custom codes: Condition-specific codes.

This lets you map a different SNOMED code to each condition area in the campaign, so what's written to the patient record actually reflects why they were recalled.

πŸ’‘ Why does this matter?

Previously, SNOMED codes were set at the message level β€” meaning every patient in a campaign received the same code, regardless of which condition triggered their recall.

In multi-condition campaigns, this causes problems:

  • Patients can end up coded as if they were excluded from registers they were never part of

  • Records don't clearly show which condition the recall related to

  • Practices have to manually tidy up coding

Condition-specific codes fix this without any extra work after the campaign runs.

πŸ” What this looks like in practice

When you select Condition-specific codes, you'll see a mapping panel with each condition area in your campaign listed. You'll need to select at least one code per condition area before moving on.

πŸ’‘ The dropdown shows deduplicated codes - if two condition areas share the same code, it appears once in the list rather than twice.
