đЏBlood forms Pilot
We're piloting automated blood form generation. If you'd like to take part in the pilot, let us know.
đMeet Hattie, your clinical co-pilot
The newest release from Hippo is Hattie - an AI assistant built into Hippo which integrates directly with your clinical system. Ask questions about your practice or your patients and get answers straight away. For example:
"How many patients with diabetes haven't had an HbA1c this year?"
"Show me our flu uptake as a chart"
"Summarise this patient's record"
âAnalyse my DNAs across patients, care areas, and days of the weekâ
All users have a free trial of Hattie until the end of November 2026.
To find Hattie, click the circle with your initials in the top-right of Hippo and select AskHattie.
A few things worth knowing:
Hattie is read-only, so canât send messages, book appointments or add codes.
Patient lists currently show up to 200 patients at a time, and you can copy them out rather than export them.
Your chats stay in the sidebar until you delete them.
If you work across multiple sites, you can select the relevant practice to query in the top right corner.
Hattie isnât designed to make clinical decisions. Itâs a tool for querying and exploring your practice data.
đťA new Hippo interface
In the next few weeks we will be releasing a new interface that makes it easier to create campaigns, track progress, review invites and recall patients manually. Once you've explored the new platform, email us or message on the chat to share your thoughts.
đĽManage your own users
Practice super users can now add colleagues to Hippo using their NHS email address. Click your initial in the top right of the Hippo platform, then User Management.
đRemoved campaign "end date" from campaign progress
This date showed when Hippo expected to have contacted all your currently eligible patients. We know it caused confusion, so we've removed it.
đď¸Patients can book up to 6 weeks ahead
Booking links now show appointments up to 6 weeks ahead. Patients get more choice, and more of your slots are used.
đEasier to get help
There's a clearer Help button in the platform, and weâve updated lots of our Help Centre articles.
đŠşIndicators
Over 60 new indicators were added since September. Many are for North West London practices taking part in the local enhanced services, as well as:
Flu: at-risk children (6 months to under 18), recalled separately from 2â3 year olds
Pneumococcal: updated to match the latest national search, with a single-dose approach
DOAC monitoring: checks matched to kidney function
Bladder cancer case finding
NHS Health Check uptake for South Asian patients
BP and cholesterol "no target" versions of the QOF targets: these find patients who need a reading, whatever the result
